You may download specifications and create job-specific details by selecting the appropriate header condition as well as the Hufcor product you wish to specify for your project planning and bid/or documents. These details may be imported into your project documents.

Pre-Design Services and Operable Walls Studies

Hufcor offers pre-design, layout and specification assistance for any size project. For large, multiple run projects, Hufcor can provide architects and owners with a comprehensive operable partition study that provides a complete analysis of a project, including:

• General notes based on your conceptual or preliminary design with recommendations.
• A review of critical performance items that should be detailed on the drawings, and why.
• CAD drawings that can be incorporated into your design development and contract documents that address storage pocket requirements, pocket doors, track layouts, overhead support, acoustical performance of surrounding construction, deflection criteria, and other critical building element requirements.
• Editable specifications for your contract documents that are consistent with applicable layouts and acoustic requirements.
• Budget costs.

Hufcor offers two AIA/CES continuing education programs. They are presented by your local Hufcor Distributor at no charge.

How to Optimize The Acoustical Performance of Rooms with Operable Partitions earns AIA members (1) Healthy Safety & Welfare Learning Unit. This program was designed specifically as an educational tool and to assist AIA members in obtaining their required learning units. However, the content is certainly beneficial to all design professionals, acousticians, owners, and others interested in increasing their knowledge of obtaining the highest acoustical performance from their operable partitions.
